summer fun!!!

Oh man it's been a long time since I have blogged! So, here's a little update on my summer so far.
-09-10 school year officially ended
-I started my online classes (which i have barely even done anything for and am pretty sure that I have been kicked out! ooopppps!)
-began job searching because babysitting is too sporadic and not as constant as I would like.
-applied at Macy's, Seagull Book, Jamba Juice, Dollar Tree, Flowerama, and my high school for janitorial purposes.
-and of course, I was hired on the spot at my school.
-visited with some family-BLCARS (Garffs)
-Girl's camp at Wallsburg and had an absolute BLAST!
-came back from girl's camp and got laid off my janitorial job because the $$$$$ ran out... :)
-babysat nonstop for about a week
-started taking Driver's Ed.
- went to Bear Lake for Youth Conference, also a BLAST!!!!
-started range and roads at 5 in the morning, 4 times, for driver's ed. :(
-swimming all over the place
-sleepovers
-participated in a super fun ropes course!
-began working for my dad folding and gluing as soon as school got out---which by the way, is a horrible job!
-went to a few baby showers
-weddings/receptions
-raging waters! :)
-going boating and tubing
-camping at my grandparents trailer
-and still so much more!!!

And It All Begins!

Just a follow up on my last post....I MADE V.E. !!! I am so shocked a thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of this group. I am going into this as a underdog though because I am only a junior. V.E. is made for seniors...so we'll just have to see how that all goes! I have already been so blessed by this group from all of the rehearsals and get together's that we have already had. I can't wait for even more AMAZING experiences to occur through this new adventure of mine!

Relief!

Today I had tryouts for Vocal Emsemble. I felt like I did a really good job. My teacher and mother both said I sounded great! So hopefully that is a good thing :) The bad new is that I have to wait until the 21st of May to find out whether I make it or not...bummer! Oh well!

craziness!

At my school we have a group called Vocal Ensemble. It is an elite group of 20-30 people of girls and boys who sing. Sort of like a Chamber choir. Anyway, tryouts are this Friday and I have slightly been freaking out. I have to have a song of my choice memorized and ready to perform. For those who don't know, I am horrible at retaining any sort of information, let alone memorizing. In addition to all of that, I am also in charge of teaching the Young Women of my ward 3 different and difficult songs by the middle of June, I am also currently choreographing a dance piece for my dance concert in two weeks and have been asked by my teacher to basically redo the entire piece. So, this is my crazy life right now, going from TONS of spare time, down to NONE!

Well, I am just starting in the world of blogging and am trying to get used to all of the controls and such. I have heard a lot of great things about blogging abd thought I would try it out! Lets just see how this goes!
